The days are longer, the sun shines brighter, and a warm breeze fills the air. The best time of year is upon us. And if you thought I meant summer, you couldn’t be more wrong. It’s time for the Met Gala! Last night was fashion’s greatest night, and what a great night it was.

The Met Gala has always blurred the line between fashion and fantasy, but this year, it leaned all the way in. Centered around the theme Costume Art and the dress code Fashion Is Art, the 2026 red (or beige) carpet challenged attendees to treat the body as a canvas where garments, jewelry, and silhouettes became fully realized works of art. What unfolded was a focus on creating remarkable moments.

While the interpretations ranged from sculptural and surreal to romantic and referential, one thing became clear: the blend of artistry and visual storytelling was spectacular.

Throughout the night, our team saw a seamless blend of fashion’s biggest movements and jewelry’s most expressive trends. Pops of color punctuated otherwise intentional palettes, maximalist compositions leaned into bold and stone-forward styles, and statement pieces became just as much narrative devices as they were accessories.

Nia Long made her jewelry the focal point with an absolutely stunning suite of Emerald and diamond jewelry complimenting her black velvet gown. She is the perfect example of how a pop of saturated color can stand out against an elegant neutral to catch the eye.

Amanda Seyfried reflected a beautiful color palette of Blue Zircons, Emeralds, and Aquamarines paired with diamonds to go with her pink gown. This artistic use of color is filled with intention as it looks perfect on her.

Alyssa Liu is a Stuller favorite this year as she donned an ensemble that screamed Signature Red — Stuller’s 2026 Color of the Year — in both her burgundy dress and her Ruby choker. The Olympic figure skating champion was a beacon of modern elegance last night.

Hailey Bieber took bold gold to new heights with a 24-karat gold breastplate paired with maximalist, metal-forward gold jewelry. While a custom-fitted pure gold breastplate might not be in everyone’s closet, the domed gold jewelry it inspires definitely can be seen in showcases across the country.
