Shop the Look: 2025 Met Gala

Get inspired by stunning looks seen at the greatest night in fashion.

The first Monday in May means the hottest celebrities and A-listers gather at the annual Met Gala to celebrate the vibrant creativity within the fashion industry. The assignment? An ode to Black Dandyism with a dress code titled “Tailored For You” and a theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” This versatile style embraces both classic and modern influences to create truly personalized ensembles — inspired by a time where making a statement through clothing was part of a larger cultural movement.

We are looking for individualized and exquisite tailoring, bold colors and patterns that stand apart from clean neutrals, purposefully curated accessories, and a blend of global cultural influences. While the red (or, rather, navy blue) carpet was filled with looks that perfectly reflected the dress code, a handful of stars caught our eye with excellent pairings of clothing and jewelry. What stood out the most to us was the artistic use of colored gemstones as stunning showstoppers.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas paired Emerald and platinum with her structured black and white polka dot dress.

Lewis Hamilton’s look was filled with symbolism connected to African culture with rings, ear cuffs, brooches, and cuff links set with amber diamonds and Garnets.

Dua Lipa’s black gown was embellished with crystals, pearls, and feathers; however, the real story here is her bold suite of diamond jewelry. The eye-catching, diamond-encrusted necklace gives the appearance of a luxurious layered statement.

Cynthia Erivo took a break from her signature green in the wake of the Wicked star’s promotional attire for a black and red sliced jacket with multilayered tulle skirt complimented by a stunning Pink Sapphire ring and fancy-cut diamonds.

Anne Hathaway let her jewelry take center stage with her black and white outfit with Blue Sapphires — namely, a 123.35-carat sugarloaf Blue Sapphire — and glittering diamonds set in white gold.
