Stuller, Inc. provides customized marketing to Canadian jewellers

Prime manufacturer refocuses on Canadian independent jewellers

Lafayette, LA (2 April 2009) – Lafayette, LA based Stuller, Inc. recently announced plans to increase its focus on Canadian independent retail jewellers.

“The Canadian jewellery market has always been important to us,” says Matthew Stuller, CEO, president and founder of Stuller, Inc. “Now more than ever, we’re excited new relationships are beginning with Canadian independent retail jewellers.”

Stuller signaled its new found commitment in July of 2007 by hiring 30-year jewellery industry veteran and former Canadian jeweller, Michael Clarke in the capacity of Vice President, Finished Jewellery.

Prior to being hired by Stuller, Clarke served as a merchandising executive at Birks and Mayors, a leading North American luxury brand, designer, manufacturer of fine jewellery, timepieces, sterling silverware and gifts, headquartered in Montreal. Clarke was also an executive at People’s Jewellers, the largest retailer of fine jewellery in Canada, with nearly 150 locations from the Maritimes to British Columbia.

“The Canadian jewellery market caters to a unique style of consumer,” says Clarke. “With the capability and resources to provide a wide assortment of products and services at key price points and speedy delivery, we are prepared to meet the needs of this emerging market.”

In addition to Clarke’s Canadian market experience, Stuller provides customized marketing services for independent retailers.

Susan Cartwright of Cartwright Jewellers in New Westminster, British Columbia recently benefited from Stuller’s Canadian focus through its direct marketing-on-demand print program.

“Stuller has always been a ‘what can we do for you’ company,” says Cartwright. “Their customized marketing-on-demand program gives us the opportunity to create media that works for all of us. We pick the product, set the prices, customize our own logos and with their speedy just-in-time delivery services, we don’t have to carry excess inventory in our cases.”

Stuller, Inc. is headquartered in Lafayette, LA and was founded by Matthew Stuller in 1970.
