PRESS RELEASE

Stuller and AGTA Partner to Clearly Identify Responsibly Sourced Colored Gemstones

Lafayette, LA (26 January 2026) — Stuller has partnered with the American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) to make AGTA-sourced colored gemstones easier to identify on Stuller.com. Built on shared values, the partnership supports education, fair business practices, and integrity across the colored gemstone industry.

Through this collaboration, AGTA-sourced gemstones are now clearly badged on Stuller.com, giving jewelers a simple way to identify suppliers who meet AGTA’s established standards and increasing visibility for AGTA member vendors committed to fair and transparent trade practices.

“We’re always looking for ways to add value to the shopping experience,” says Alissa Talbot, executive director of diamonds & gemstones at Stuller. “By providing visibility to gemstones sourced from AGTA member vendors, we’re giving our customers an added layer of transparency and trust when they purchase.”

“When you choose AGTA gemstones through Stuller, you choose more than beauty. You choose integrity,” said Bruce Bridges, president of the AGTA board of directors. “Each gem comes from vendors committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and the principles of fair business. The AGTA logo is a mark of trust, allowing customers to buy with confidence and pass that confidence on with every creation.”

“Stuller’s customers can shop for AGTA gemstones knowing they come from AGTA vendors that follow the strictest code of ethics and principles of fair business practice in any industry,” says John W. Ford Sr., CEO of AGTA. “The AGTA logo means you can buy with confidence so you can sell to your customers with confidence.”

AGTA-sourced gemstones are available now at Stuller.com/AGTA.
