We caught up with Andrea Riso from Talisman Collection in El Dorado Hills, California. She shared her JCK excitement with us and exactly what she’ll be looking for this year in Las Vegas!
Why do you attend JCK Las Vegas?
Talisman Collection attends JCK and Luxury at JCK every year to engage with new designers and vendors and to reconnect with our existing suppliers. We love to see the latest in design, precious metal trends, color stone trends, diamond jewelry, and the forecast for style, color, and profile in international vendors’ gems and diamonds. We love to kibbitz with our diamond dealers.
Typically, we make a beeline for Downeast Trading and then head over to the Technology area. We see what’s new and decide what we can’t live without in our ever-changing technology resources. We love to see the smiling faces of Katie Dominesey & Isabel Cajulis. And we go all fangirl gaga when we meet Victoria Gomelsky each year, snooping around to see what she’s enjoying at the show. All in all, we come to reinvigorate the existing, the new, and the unexpected, to take in all that JCK has to offer.

What are you most excited to see/learn about?
Did we mention new technologies? We want to learn all about holograms, see the highest resolution in 3D printing, and experience a world of beautiful designs we have the honor of seeing at JCK. It’s such a thrill for us. It never gets old.
What is your favorite part of the JCK Las Vegas experience?
It’s a tie! Meeting and connecting unexpectedly with new sources is a great thrill. Also, meeting someone in person whom we’ve only spoken to on the phone and cementing our business relationship is a great experience. Reconnecting with our existing vendors and seeing what new inspiration and creation they’re showing is the greatest thrill of all.
