Dynamic Power Toggle
The new Dynamic Power Toggle lets you turn off parametric functionality by default, giving you the freedom to make quick changes without affecting your entire design. For heavy projects, you can now pause computational updates, make your edits, and trigger one optimized update when you’re ready. It’s all about more control and fewer delays.
Static Surface Prong Tool
Need to add a large number of prongs without the overhead of parametric adjustments? The new Static Surface Prong tool is perfect for meshes, surfaces, or SubD objects where fixed placement matters more than editability. This feature is great for stone-intensive designs where speed and precision go hand in hand.
Custom Quick Commands
Personalize your workspace like never before. The upgraded Quick Commands feature allows you to create and save custom tab layouts tailored to your workflow. You can share these templates across devices and with your team, ensuring a consistent experience no matter where you’re designing.
Performance Improvements
From faster file opening to smoother previews, MatrixGold 3.9 introduces significant performance enhancements. Commands, such as Signet Advanced, Hinge, and Cut to Ring Rail, now update only after changes are finalized — not while you’re still making them. Other UI adjustments reduce lag and speed up your workflow across the board.

How to Access MatrixGold 3.9
I use MatrixGold 3 with Rhino 8.
Simply open the MatrixGold application via the Gemvision launcher to use the latest version.
I use MatrixGold 3 with Rhino 7.
You will need to upgrade your Rhino license to Rhino 8 to access this update and upcoming releases. Click here to upgrade your Rhino license.
I use MatrixGold 2.
You will need to upgrade to MatrixGold 3 with Rhino 8 to access this update as well as two additional major updates later this year packed with additional features and enhancements. Have an active MatrixGold membership? Enjoy $50 off your license upgrade.
