Back on the Road: A Recap of AJS 2021

#TeamStuller Shines With Southern Hospitality On Full-Display in Atlanta

The Atlanta Jewelry Show was held this past weekend at the Cobb Galleria Centre and #TeamStuller brought it! After almost two years of events on hold, it’s incredible being back on the trade show floor.

“After almost two years of events on hold, it’s incredible being back on the trade show floor.”

-Lauren Reaux

In March of 2020, we attended the show just two weeks before the country shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We could have never guessed it would be over a year and a half later until we could come back. In a world where virtual events have become the norm, there’s a great vibe and palpable energy when communicating in person.

It’s been way too long, and we were so excited to catch up with our industry partners and interacting with our customers one-on-one. What was different about this show compared to 2020? A daily health screening, temperature scanning, and sanitizing stations were readily available throughout the venue.

Our booth featured all the product categories that Stuller has to offer such as bridal, fine jewelry, tools, packaging, 3D printing and software; and much more. We hosted live stone setting demonstrations, laser engraving, diamond testing, and laser welder demos. Customers came by the booth to test out our tools and machines.

Each member of #TeamStuller worked a dedicated area in the booth assisting customers with product questions and demonstrating on the equipment.

As Stuller’s director of customer events, my role is to organize the show, from contracts, to hotel accommodations, to ordering electrical and everything in between. I work with each Stuller business unit to understand their needs for the show. They submit the product and marketing requests and I figure out how we are going to display it in the booth in the given amount of space we have. This is the hardest part because Stuller has so many great products, how do you choose what to bring? If we could bring it all, trust me we would!

ALS executive director Libby Brown said, “The jewelry community is thriving and this should be an epic holiday selling season.” Founded in 1950, the show’s official sponsor and producer, the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA), is the nation’s oldest association for independent jewelry representatives.

We’re looking forward to Stuller’s next stop in Birmingham, Alabama for the RJO Buying Show at the end of January, and you’re invited to check out a variety of our training events throughout 2022 in MatrixGold®, CounterSketch®, Basic Laser, and Digital Technology. Find complete information and training dates at Stuller.com/events.

Happy Selling and Happy Holidays!
