What you’re missing this Valentine’s Day
The classic ingredients for the perfect Valentine’s Day gift include jewelry, chocolate, wine, and flowers. But with everyone following the same recipe, how can you stand out in a sea of rose petals and ribbon?
Let’s take a minute to study the PowerPuff Girls. Never heard of them? Shame. Here’s all you need to know.
Sugar. Spice. And everything nice. These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girls. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an EXTRA INGREDIENT to the concoction: CHEMICAL X. Thus, the PowerPuff Girls were born! Using their ultra-superpowers, Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil!
Ok, so maybe this takes it a step too far. We don’t want to be fighting crime. Unless it’s alongside Captain America and Thor. Sign me up for that. Leave out the forces of evil though, thanks. I’m getting sidetracked. Anyway, Professor Utonium added an extra ingredient that elevated his formula above all others: CHEMICAL X. And that’s exactly what you need to do.
So what’s your CHEMICAL X? (I’m not talking about illegal stuff here, people; let’s keep it clean! I said Powerpuff Girls, not Breaking Bad).
The quickest, easiest addition is probably an ingredient you already have, but typically ignore: your gift packaging. I sat down with Emily Graffagnino, Visual Merchandising and Packaging Product Manager, to get some super-useful and easy tips on how to pack a bigger punch this Valentine’s Day season.
Here’s Emily’s advice on using your own CHEMICAL X:
Color Me Charmed:
The packaging presentation truly makes or breaks the first impression of a gift. Make sure all eyes light up with delight and excitement by choosing colors that are vivid and fresh! You’ll find the widest variety of vibrant hues with our Candy Box collection.
The tops and bottoms of the Candy Box collection can be mixed and matched. But wait, it gets better! The inserts are also reversible! No matter the stone or metal type of the piece you put inside, the presentation will be captivating and compelling.
Cupid Needs His Bow:
And so does your packaging. Okay, puns aside, a box without a bow is like peanut butter without jelly. Or Bert without Ernie. Or Jack without Rose (What do you mean you haven’t seen Titanic?! What are you waiting for?!) My point is that this is Valentine’s Day – the day that’s ALL ABOUT perfect pairs. So top any color box in this collection with a white pull bow to add the perfect amount of sweetness and charm!
Try out the collection and send us feedback on which options you chose to mix together!
